Last week I travelled through all the SES branches in Finland, barring Joensuu study group. I have to say that I was fairly impressed by many of the students, and I enjoyed the trip immensely despite having to lug a backpack and a freeplay kit with me almost everywhere I went.
The main reason for my trip was to see and experience the School of European Swordsmanship in its natural habitats. I found if fascinating how differences in teaching styles seemed to correlate with having students with different skill sets.
Some people asked me to show the spear form as done after the notes of Henkik Wadell, also posted on this forum. I'd like to point out that I didn't start the form in the way described in those notes. That was purely my mistake - you should follow the notes instead of my example. Even so, I hope my ramblings about the form and it's applications shed some light for those who want to start practicing the form on their own.
Thank you for your hospitality, and see you later!
