Note that the first half is an aide-memoire for the basic four drills, and the second iincludes the breaking of the thrust, the punta falsa, the second play of the sword in one hand, and the thrust using bicorno. The second half can be easily trained as a circular drill, with the last blow of the drill (the thrust in bicorno) as the feed for the first (breaking the thrust from fenestra). This is one of the core solo drills we use. It incorporates all of the major blows of the sword in Fiore's system, in several forms, and almost all of the guard positions.
