This is the one exercise that has stayed the exact same since 2001!
This is basic drill is to help get the sword moving relative to the hand, and can be done with the sword hand moving only as much as necessary. The blows are versions of mandritto fendente, mandritto sottano, roverso fendente and roverso sottano.
Historical note: this drill dates back to the very first Swordschool class, on March 17th 2001.
