Spear Counter-remedies

The counter-remedy of the spear is when parried to turn the spear and strike with the butt (pedale).

This is shown as the third step of a three step drill here:

It is also shown against the defences of all six spear guards here:

Note that to make the turn against a left-side guard when striking from the right, you have to start with your left hand towards the tip. This video also includes the basic use of a feint against the remedies done from the left.
